You are all invited to the annual breakfast on behalf of Shvut Ami Sunday, Dec 6th at 9:30 am, at the home of Max and Sandra Thurm, 6 Misty Lane in Suffern. Rabbi Shmuel Goldin will be the guest speaker.
Dear family and friends,
As many of you know I have recently graduated from grad school (thank G-d!!!!). One thing that really helped me get through school (and all those stressful days) was that I developed a love for running. There's nothing like a great morning run outdoors to get rid of stress and I decided to channel this new passion towards something more meaningful. I have just signed up to run the 1/2 marathon for team Lifeline- a branch of Chai Lifeline (an organization which provides in every way, shape and form for children with cancer and other disease/conditions, as well as their families). This cause has always spoken to me and over the years I have donated money, however I feel I could do more by running and providing other people the chance to give!!!! In order to participate I need to raise $3600 but I hope to raise even more!!!! If this cause speaks to you and you would like to support me in this exciting goal, please follow this link onto my personal fundraising page, or feel free to look around and learn more about other opportunities. In any event, I want to wish everyone a gmar tov, a gut g'bencht yr and lots of blessing, health and simcha......Tizku limitzvot! be well, -Dini Click here for Adina's Page Or type in your browser's address bar: https://www.teamlifeline.org/mypage.php?myid=56349 Gilah Lempel will be running a marathon, 26.2 miles, to raise money for Chai Lifeline. Her goal is $3600, If you can help in any way, Please respond to the link on her email which is posted below. The Shul Journal Dinner was a smashing success. Everyone had a great time and the Shul was able to raise over $25,000, which was the target selected in the early part of this year's campaign. Journals are available in the library if you were not able to come to the dinner and take one yourself. You can order a Journal at the Lulu website, but wait until we have revise it with the supplement and one more edit. Look for and order the 2nd edition. |
