Shabbat Ki Tavo - Sept 12th - 13th

Seating for Rosh Hashanah
With the advent of Chodesh Elul, we've begun preparing for the Yomim Noraim. Seats are available. Our Seating Committee (Jimmy Katz and Willie Goldstein) are available after our daily Minyanim during the week: $50 for Members, $150 for Associate Members and Non-Members. Prior to receiving seats, all previous financial obligations to the Shul need to be taken care of either by payment or arrangement with our treasurer.

No one will be turned away for lack of funds. We do, however, insist that all those who plan to daven with us, including those who come to hear Shofar blowing only, speak to the seating committee, in advance, to reserve seats and to financially support the Shul. As stated, no one will be turned away, but it is inappropriate for individuals to use our Shul and not financially support it.

At 2:45 PM on Tisha B'Av the Chafetz Chaim Heritage Foundation's Worldwide Tisha B'av event will be shown in the Shul (both Program 1 and Program 2). It is sponsored by Young Israel of Spring Valley to honor the memories of Rav Heshy Chapler, zt"l and Susie Chapler, a"h and also L'ilui nishmas Yehudit bas Yakov haLevi, a"h, Aharon Baruch ben Tzvi Hersh, a"h, and Elazar ben Meir Yom Tov, a"h.

Kiddush
We will be having a kiddush after davening sponsored by Goldie and Yosef Malek, in honor of Betzalel's Bar Mitzvah and by Shainee and Aharon Tabi, to commemorate the first Yahrtzheit of Mrs. Tabi's Mother, Nechi bas Yehoshua.

Yom Yerushalayim
On Tuesday Evening, May 27th, we will be celebrating Yom Yerushalayim in our Shul with several other Shuls. Rabbi Neil Winkler of the Young Israel of Fort Lee will be our speaker.

Sale of Chametz
