Yom Haatzmaut begins this Tuesday evening. The day before is Yom Hazikaron to commemorate the sacrifices of those who served in the Israeli Defense Forces. Several of our Mispallilim served in the IDF; we thank them and salute them for their service.

There will be a Yom Ha’atzmaut celebration at ASHAR on Wednesday evening, April 29th at 7:15 PM.

There will be a Siyum Bechoros after each Shacharis minyan on Wednesday. Remember to make an Eruv Tavshilin in order to be able to cook on YomTov for Shabbos Chol Hamoed. In preparation for Pesach, we urge everyone to contribute to the Shul's Maos Chittim campaign. Rabbi Cohen will be available to arrange for the sale of chometz as follows: On Sunday April 5th, he will be available from after the 7:00am Minyan until 8:15am, and the rest of the week, from after the 7:00am Shachris and from 6:15pm prior to Mincha/Maariv until 8:00pm. If these times are not convenient please contact Rabbi Cohen to make an appointment.

We regret to inform you of the passing of the brother of Molly Chapman in Eretz Yisroel. She is sitting shiva with her sister, Feige Roidman at her sister's resident home - Evergreen Court, which is at 65 Lafayette Street in Spring Valley, Room 207. She will be sitting through Monday morning - April 6th.No visitors are allowed after 9:00 pm.
