On Sunday afternoon, July 3, our Shul will receive a new Sefer Torah in memory of Willie Goldstein, a”h. From 1 - 4 PM, individuals can come to the Pressman home and complete a letter in the Torah, after which we will accompany the Sefer Torah as it is brought from their home to the Shul. The procession will begin at 4 PM with music and dancing, and proceed to our Shul, where the Sefer will be properly welcomed and ensconced in the Aron Kodesh. The celebration will then continue in the Shul with singing, dancing, Mincha and a kiddush.

We regret to inform you of the passing of our former member, Rosalie Rosenthal in Florida this week.
The Levaya took place in Florida on Thursday, June 30th. A graveside ceremony and burial will take place on Friday, July 1st at 2 pm at Riverside Cemetery, 12 Market Street, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663. The family will be sitting shiva Sunday morning, July 3rd, from 10 AM – 5 PM and 7 PM – 9 PM at the home of her daughter, Renee Rabinowitz, 6 Verona Court, New City, NY and then the family will return to Florida for the remainder of the shiva .

Independence Day - The 4th of July
Monday, July 4th is Independence Day, the 240th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. We urge everyone to participate in one of the many local celebrations in our area.
